Intro

The Miyota 8245 is the decorated and spiffier version of the 8215. Praesto are using it in their upcoming Aviator.

  • Based on the 8215 movement
  • Size: 11.5 ligne, 25.6mm by 5.67mm
  • 21 jewels with Parashock
  • 21,600 vph
  • Unidirectional winding
  • Power reserve: At least 40 hours
  • Accuracy spec: -20 to +40 seconds per day
  • Hours and minutes, with non-hacking subseconds at appx 4:30
  • Handwinding
  • Quickset date
  • Upgraded from the 8215 with decorations/finishing, and hopefully improved accuracy
